This is an energetic supporter of global efforts to provide access to clean water and effective sanitation to all people in conjuction with Flying Penguin Enterprises UK..
We support these efforts in two ways:
LIFESAVER – We are an authorized distributor of LIFESAVER filters, which uses advanced ceramic technology to provide immediate access to safe water, removing 99.9999% (log 6) of all bacteria, 99.99% (log 4) of all viruses and 99.9% (log 3) of all cysts. The user can fill the LIFESAVER bottle or Jerrycan with the contaminated water, operate the hand pump, and enjoy safe, clean water instantly making the product extremely useful in both humanitarian aid and development projects.
WASH Knowledge Centre – We are also spearheading the establishment of a Knowledge Centre, structured as a charitable foundation, bringing together universities, water companies, specialist companies together with donors such as DFID (Department for International DEVELOPMENT) and others, the UN and NGO community and other key stakeholders. The Knowledge Centre will work to bring academia, business, governments, and the Aid & Development community together to more effectively address challenges around water and sanitation, locally, regionally, and globally.
